Lunchlecture StartHub

Enjoy some free lunch!

Dear members,

On Tuesday the 25th of February M.S.V. Alchimica, CODON and StartHub will organize a lunchlecture together. The lecture will consist of two talks of people who have set up their own company. StartHub is a company on our own campus that provides help and guidance for especially PhD students with entrepreneurial interests. Apart from our cooperation on the lecture, the three of us will also organize a workshop taking place in a few months.

Carlos Serrano has set-up a company called Remode Solutions, which produces custom made bioreactors involving customers of leading biotech industries. Carlos shares his interest in combining nature with the finest technology, all to aim for an optimal and high specific 3D printed product to form a bridge between research and industrial applications.

Iris Houthoff is the founder of Mylium, a company that produces material that is a part of a fungus, the material is called mycelium. These materials are very sustainable and uses waste biomass as resource. Apart from being the founder of Mylium, she is also a lecture at the Bioprocess Engineering (BPE) faculty at the WUR.
