Thesis market 2022

This year there will be an online Thesis market organised. Below you can find information about how and when to attend. It will take place via GatherTown!

Dear students,

On the 21^st of February from 16.00-19.00, the Thesis Orientation Market will take place via GatherTown. This is an online communication programme in which each user has an avatar that can walk around in a virtual world (our Thesis Market). You start an online meeting with the people who have their avatar close to yours in the virtual world. 

Each chair group has a room that you can visit and there will be posters with information about the different projects the chair groups are working on. These rooms are so called ‘private spaces’ which means that you can see and hear everyone who is standing in the same room (independent of the distance between the avatars). Please walk to the back of the room to make sure other avatars can also enter the room. 

In the attachment you can find the (general version of the) map of the GatherTown market. You can already have a look where the chair groups are that you would like to visit. You can ask questions at the Infodesk and talk to your study advisor at the bars on the right. Below you can find the link to the GatherTown market. You will be able to access the market 1 week before the start of the event. Lastly, we would like to ask you to use a maximum of 9 characters when entering your name to prevent the names that are visible above the avatars to overlap when standing close to each other.
